The artist

This painting was born after an artistic journey that has lasted for about forty years. In recent years I have traveled many paths, many have been abandoned, others have evolved like the one I present on this site.

In fact, this is an evolution of my concept of space, that is, of the micro and macro cosmos to which we are linked and to which we refer at any moment of our existence.

Chance leads us to make new scientific discoveries and it is precisely by chance that I discovered a passion for science and astronomy in particular. What gave me the impetus to create these works was also and above all science fiction cinema, which gave me the charm of flying with the imagination and exploring other worlds and other frontiers of knowledge.

These paintings are a free interpretation of the images of the Universe, near and far from us, which have reached us from the various probes (Voyager, Cassini and Webb) sent into deep space.

Then the color application is applied according to the "dark and light" rule.

The canvas is nailed to a board to give it a background (colors and glue), then the layering of dark colors that create a base for the "Dark"

Then it is detached and placed on the ground where it is possible to intervene with other tools: sponges, brushes, rollers and spatulas to bring out the "Light"
