This painting was born by chance, it is the meeting between art and science, in particular astronomy. Research conducted in nuclear physics laboratories, where it is possible to experiment on a smaller scale, the events that happen around us and study the events that concern objects in the universe. Macro-cosmos and micro-cosmos are the duality contained in the term "The All". Man's effort to cross the horizons of the earth and our solar system is already a reality with the sending of probes that bring us exceptional images. I created the idea of an imaginary journey that leads us to explore both the depths of the cosmos and of our mind, made up of abstract images, which recall the photos sent to us by the various space probes. Let us hope, in the not too distant future, to be able to travel to discover new worlds and new frontiers of knowledge.
My laboratory
I love art and the great masters, above all I love the comparison with real people. I have known Andrea's work for many years: the house, the laboratory and the events with his works. I have always admired his dedication and his consistency in following his spirit of research, which developed over time in different phases. His paintings are good companions in my life.

I purchased this painting in an exhibition entitled "The Garden of the Elements" in 2013, of which it was part. I was struck mainly by the brushstrokes of bright colors on a dark background, almost as if to signify that light and color arise from darkness.
Paola
I have seen many of Andrea Colusso's exhibitions and followed his artistic journey in its various evolutions over time. In all the works that I was able to view I found his creative spirit and his artistic expression in search of an identity and uniqueness that has evolved over the years.
